Support, Incorporated provides the following services:
Day Treatment Services - Solution Station
Day Treatment Services
must include interventions and techniques that respond to each
individual consumer/student and family’s unique strengths and
needs. This is best achieved by developing a therapeutic milieu,
utilizing Systems of Care/Person Centered Planning practices,
working collaboratively with the IEP Team and incorporating such
beliefs that consumers/students deserve to be supported in the
least restrictive environment/home school setting, and utilizing
cultural proficiency and sensitivity to differences among all
(i.e., speaks appropriate language, does not judge family
culture, etc).
Community
Based Rehabilitative Services (CBRS)
Early
Intervention
CBS- Early Intervention services address the overall development
of children aged 0 to 3 years who have special needs. Early
Intervention services are based on the child’s individualized
Family Service Plan and focus on cognitive, language, self-help,
and psycho-social skills development. Early Interventionists use
a variety of play activities to promote communication, gross and
fine motor, cognitive, self-help and social/emotional/behavioral
skills. These services are community/home based and family
centered. Training is available to family members and caretakers
if desired.
Community Support Services
Community Support Services are psycho-educational and
supportive in nature and intended to meet the mental health,
developmental disability, and substance abuse needs of clients
with significant functional deficits or who because of negative
environmental, medical or biological factors, are at risk of
developing or increasing the magnitude of such functional
deficits. Community Support Services are provided directly to
clients and/or caregivers in a naturally occurring setting
(home, school etc.) on functional problems that occur in that
setting. This service includes education and training of
caregivers and others who have a legitimate role in addressing
the needs identified in the service plan.
Community Support Services are focused on assisting clients in
preventing, overcoming or managing functional deficits in the
school, home and/or community. This service is intended to
assist clients in better understanding how to respond to a wide
range of issues related to functional deficits and to acquire
skills needed to overcome or manage those deficits.
This service includes the
arrangement, linkage or integration of multiple services as they
are needed or being received by the recipient. It includes
assessment and reassessment of the client’s need for case
management; informing the client about benefits, community
resources, and services; assisting the client in accessing
benefits and services; arranging for the client to receive
services; and monitoring provision of services.
