Consumers often receive services while at school.  Therefore it is important for school personnel and Support Incorporated staff to communicate constructively about services rendered on school grounds.  Below are some frequently asked questions about community based service including contact information for concerns or questions.

Who receives Community Support?

Persons who may suffer from or may be at risk for significant developmental delays, atypical development, substance abuse, or mental illness/serious emotional disturbance (SED) which could result in an inability to live successfully in the community without services, support, and guidance.

Who screens Support, Inc. staff?

At Support, Inc., we screen each employee with a thorough interview process, reference checks, criminal background and driving check.  Additionally we check on the health care registry, which is a database kept by the state that keeps records of persons involved with abuse/neglect.

What happens when Community Support staff is absent?

Support, Inc. recognizes the need for services to be continued even when primary staff is absent.  Support, Inc. is proud to offer qualified crisis staff in such instances.  Although we have such staff available, it may take several moments to contact and inform such staff about a particular child’s situation.  “Bare with us, help is on the way!”

Who do I call when there is a comment or concern about Community Support?

We have high expectation for our staff to work effectively with children throughout the day.  If you should ever have a comment or concern big or small or any questions or comments related to Support, Incorporated Employees and/or clients then contact the following.
