Consumers can receive services while at
school; therefore, it is important for
school personnel and Support Incorporated
staff to communicate constructively about
services rendered on school grounds. Below
are some frequently asked questions about
services, including contact information for
any questions or concerns.
Who
receives Community Support?
Persons who may suffer
from or may be at risk for significant
developmental delays, atypical development,
substance abuse, or mental illness/serious
emotional disturbance (SED) which could
result in an inability to live successfully
in the community and natural environments
without services, support, and guidance.
Who screens
Support, Inc. staff?
At Support, Inc.,
we screen each employee with a thorough
interview process, reference checks,
criminal background and driving check.
Additionally we check on the health care
registry, which is a database kept by the
state that keeps records of persons involved
with abuse/neglect.
Who do I call
when there is a comment or concern about
Community Support?
We have high expectation for our staff to
work effectively with children/students.
