CBAY strives
to be the premier provider of therapeutic
residential III services to the youth of Gaston,
Lincoln and Cleveland counties.
Our facilities
provide services twenty-four hours a day,
365 days per year.
In order to
achieve CBAY's goal of providing the best
in therapeutic residential services, there must
be a focus on experience and training.
One method
to expand these skills, and one way in which
staff will be prepared to meet the needs of
CBAY's clients, is through continuous training.
In addition
to state mandated training, CBAY enhances
the skills of employees by providing client
and population specific training to all direct
care staff. This training occurs at least
once a month.
CBAY staff
will employ team based methods in service
delivery to clients. We believe that only
through the collaboration of many professionals
can clients receive the best possible care.
Treatment
Team: CBAY will provide services in
accordance with the plan developed by the
clients treatment team.
Client,
Family and Staff: CBAY will implement
residential treatment approaches with the
consent, consideration and partnership of
the client and their family. Clients
will participate in group problem solving
for issues that arise in the residential
setting.
Committees:
CBAY will work with local professionals,
with various backgrounds, to ensure that
the values, morals and ethics that are instilled
within the residential setting are consistent
with those of the community at large.
